You are more likely to maintain long-term sobriety by entering and committing to a structured transitional living environment, like Granada House Review. That’s why we encourage our clients to consider staying 6 months to one year. Teras and Tharros are not affiliated with any clinical treatment (IOP/PHP, etc.) and our focus is on helping each client engage the best clinical support for their own circumstance.
Welcome to the Granada House Review- mens recovery home
I don’t want them to be tense with feelings of pressure to do it the “right” way or feel shame if they do it “wrong”. I want to leave room for creativity and mistakes and self acceptance because these are all part of life. With no judgement we can feel safe to explore and emerge; we get a chance to see ourselves in a new light. Your experience at Tharros is designed to help you be successful in your personal goals. We start with listening to your goals, and helping you identify what you want to achieve at Tharros.
Sober Living Requirements
Our experience has been that once our clients arrive at Granada House Review, they understand and feel the benefits. You are not locked in to any long term agreements, but we do ask that you come planning to stay for at least 60 days. After your initial period at Tharros, you may wish to explore our less structured home, Teras. You are not locked in to any long term agreements, but we do ask that you come planning to stay for at least 30 days. Some treatment facilities provide care for 30, 60 or 90+ days. At Granada House Review, we want to help you achieve your life goals and long-term sobriety with the tools and foundation you’ve already acquired. Leaving a residential, inpatient, or outpatient treatment environment is often more challenging than expected. You’ve changed, but the people, places, and things around you haven’t. Some of the same triggers you had before can be reactivated and we recognize how frustrating and upsetting that can be. At Tharros, we offer semi-private to fully private ensuite accommodation. Every guest room is well appointed, comfortable, and quiet.
In the Tharros kitchen with “my guys” I get to witness what is possible. I am honored to be able to observe their personal development. I see stiff bodies, hunched shoulders, reluctance, doubt and vacant stares, at first. Then I see vulnerability, acquiescence and participation.
Our mission is to help our clients achieve long-term recovery, move on from feelings of shame, and learn how to live a fulfilled life. Our sober living home reinforces honesty and integrity as we provide support along the journey to cultivating a new, constructive and optimistic sober lifestyle. With more than 50 years of recovery experience, our team understands what you’re going through and we want to help you love life again. Granada House Review Review Not all sober living homes are the same and in fact beyond the differences in “amenities”, there are many other important factors to consider. The road to recovery from alcoholism and addiction requires significant emotional, behavioral, and intellectual changes. Whether you’ve just completed a drug detox, alcohol rehab, or any other kind of substance abuse treatment, we know recovery takes time and we know that you’re worth it.
Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive community, combining individual and group interactions to facilitate building a meaningful life in sobriety. Successful long-term recovery is more than just abstinence from substances it’s a lifestyle change; replacing negative or unhealthy behaviors/patterns with positive coping skills, healthy routines, community and support. We believe life balance, structure, engagement, social interactions, positive perception and challenging old behaviors/beliefs are the key to a successful recovery. We support all paths to recovery and assist our clients to build a foundation for independence and a successful transition. Tharros offers significantly more than a traditional sober living. We fit in between what you’d find at a clinical extended care program and very supportive recovery home.
The area is now an open-air museum with active excavation sites. Among the interesting structures are the tophet, the bath installations, the temple foundations and an area with houses and artisan workshops. Excavations showed that from the 8th century BC until its abandonment in the 10th century Tharros was inhabited, first by Phoenicians, then by Punics and then by Romans. The town was the capital of the medieval Giudicato of Arborea, a Roman/Byzantine relict state from the 9th century until 1070 when Orzocorre I of Arborea relocated to Oristano under pressure of Saracen raiders.
Teras does provide breakfast foods, and our structure is designed around the availability of the community; part of this structure includes meetings and activities, designed to foster community and fellowship. Teras, our flexible structure home, offers a lower cost model for those ready to return to work, and who have their own transportation. Tharros offers a shared (double) space for $9,500 per month.
